Our client is hiring Quality Control/Quality Assurance Technician for one of our clients based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Job Description:
Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished food products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform sensory evaluations to assess taste, texture, and overall product quality.
Maintain detailed records of quality control inspections, test results, and any deviations from standards.
Generate reports summarizing findings and trends and communicate results to the relevant departments.
Stay abreast of local and international food safety regulations and industry best practices.
Ensure that all products meet the established quality and safety standards set by regulatory bodies.
Work closely with production teams to address quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and prevent potential issues. ï‚· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures. ï‚· Utilize various testing methods and equipment to analyze physical, chemical, and microbiological properties of food products.
Investigate and troubleshoot any deviations from specifications and recommend corrective actions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Verify and confirm the ingredients addition are done with correct weight and as per the recipe.
CCP Monitoring, Ensure CCP limits are as per standards and update Quality Manager for corrective action if required.
Monitor General Cleaning activities in the plant on daily basis and inform QA Supervisor / Hygiene team leader for any findings.
Conduct Sightseeing Pest activity inspection on daily basis, Inform FS/QA Supervisor for any pest activity for corrective action.
Carry out spot audits daily and confirm set standards are met.
Responsible for ensuring the Production and kitchen staff follow Good Hygiene practices (GMP), wearing uniforms correctly & the working area is kept clean and proper housekeeping is implemented.
Ensure from escalating any food safety violation to FS/QA Supervisor and Quality Manager to make sure Production doesn’t resume without approval from Quality Manager.
Responsible for ensuring customer complaints are addressed and investigated, share the investigation results with Quality Manager. Make sure agreed corrective actions are implemented effectively.
