Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality products.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to assess product specifications accurately.
Implement and maintain quality systems in accordance with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
Perform quality audits to identify areas for improvement within the production process.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports on quality metrics.
Participate in training sessions related to quality control practices, including HACCP principles.
Assist in the development of inspection protocols and procedures to enhance product quality.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field, with a strong understanding of QA/QC principles.
Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO 13485 standards, and HACCP guidelines is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and other precision instruments.
Experience with quality systems and software, including Calypso for data analysis, is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify defects and recommend improvements effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Strong communication skills to convey findings clearly to team members and management.
