Key Responsibility
- Analyze business requirements and Acceptance Criteria to design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing, including Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop, execute, and maintain Automation Test Scripts to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
- Execute test plans across multiple environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, Production verification).
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira while collaborating closely with Developers and Business Analysts.
- Validate application data using SQL queries and prepare test data when necessary.
- Investigate application issues using Browser Developer Tools (Console, Network, HTML/DOM inspection).
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Continuously improve testing quality and efficiency by leveraging AI tools throughout the QA process.
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum 3 – 4 years of experience in Software Testing, including both Manual Testing and Automation Testing for web applications (internship experience is not counted).
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Experience collaborating closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, including:
- Test Levels (Integration, System, UAT)
- Test Types (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity)
- Defect Lifecycle
- Test Design Techniques:
- Boundary Value Analysis
- Equivalence Partitioning
- Decision Table
- State Transition
- Negative Testing
- Candidates should be able to independently design effective test cases from business requirements and Acceptance Criteria.
- Comfortable writing SQL queries involving multiple-table JOINs.
- Validate application data directly from databases.
- Prepare and maintain testing data.
- Jira (or equivalent issue tracking tools).
- Browser Developer Tools (Console, Network, HTML/DOM).
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Automation Testing frameworks/tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent), including the ability to develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Able to read software requirements written in English.
- Able to write clear and professional test cases and bug reports in English.
- Strong English communication skills with the confidence to communicate and work directly with international clients in meetings and daily project activities.
