Quality Control – Shift Lab Technician Jobs in Fairfax, SC at West Fraser
(Pay Range: $17.50-18.50/hr DOE)
* This is a Part-time position ; Monday – Friday from 2pm – 6pm*
Purpose of Position: This position will provide support Operations through various tasks.
Essential Functions:
Understands company policies and procedures as they apply to California Choice.
Follows all established process and procedures to ensure integrity, security and confidentiality of all data.
Review documents processed for accuracy against information entered in the database.
Ability to identify and report discrepancies/errors to corrections team.
Provides clear and concise correspondence in and outside of the department (i.e. confirmations, system comments, error reporting).
Meets department standards for quality and quantity.
Adheres to all PHI (Personal Health Information) guidelines
Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.
Other duties as assigned by the management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Excellent proofreading skills
Must be able to type 40 WPM minimum
Strong data entry skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
At least 6 months of experience in an office environment preferred.
Educational Requirements:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements: This position is required to sit 100% of the time. Must be able to walk, utilize stairs, bend, stoop, and lift up to 30lbs. Close vision required. Must be able to perform this job for the entire work day, daily. Working environment is stable and noise level is moderate.
