The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference, and here’s how the Quality Control Specialist (Temporary / until end of 2027) role will make an impact:
- Preparing/reviewing Stability & Finished Goods related protocols, reports, trend reports, monthly stability analysis program.
- Writing and updating SOPs related to Stability and laboratories when necessary, providing the necessary training.
- Provide data input for the stability and finished goods section of Annual Product Reviews.
- Writing and updating product specifications and test methods.
- Possess hands-on knowledge of laboratory instruments (HPLC, GC, UV, IR, KF, etc.).
- Making trend analysis in validation and finished product studies.
- Track and manage the lifecycle of laboratory columns, including usage and inventory tracking.
- Support management of reference standards in the laboratory, including inventory tracking and weekly control.
- Support method validation and transfer activities as required.
- Support troubleshooting and investigating out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
- Minumum 2 years of experience as an analyst in a Quality Control Laboratory in a Pharmaceutical company.
- Knowledge and experience with HPLC/UPLC/GC/UV/IR/KF instruments.
- Familiarity with Empower 3 and LIMS software is an advantage.
- Understanding of cGMP, GLP, and Data Integrity principles.
- Experience and knowledge in Stability testing, Method Validation and Analytical Method Transfer activities is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in technical writing and preparing reports.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, good relationship management and change agility.
- Able to effectively function and lead in a cross-functional team environment. Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
