Summary:
Under the supervision of the Quality Control Supervisor, this position will support the Motion team in the Quality Inspection processes. The successful candidate MUST be willing and able to travel to Canada for training.
Responsibilities :
Perform final line inspections of assembled chairs, subassemblies (e.g., painted parts), or unassembled parts;
Compile quality data generated during chair inspections;
Support the Production, Receiving, and Quality Control teams in generating and analyzing non-conformities;
Complete calibration/verification of measuring equipment;
Perform simple Metrology measurements;
Re-inspect modified chairs (customs) and customer returns as part of the reconditioning program;
Complete the documentation related to their tasks and responsibilities;
Participate in continuous improvement activities;
Maintain a clean and organized environment;
Any other related tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
Be passionate and curious;
Have a positive attitude and openness to change;
Be punctual, diligent, and respectful;
Have experience as an assembler or a recognized equivalent manufacturing experience, or have experience in tasks related to Quality (an asset);
Good mechanical skills;
Manual dexterity and attention to detail;
Able to handle maximum loads of 30 pounds using lifting tools;
Basic computer skills (Office, Outlook);
Demonstrate flexibility in their role;
Autonomy and organizational skills;

Pay: Up to $24.12 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
