A Day as an Automated Inspection Specialist
Immerse yourself in the role of the Automated Inspection Specialist who expertly navigates the AXI machine and conducts rigorous quality assessments. This role, located in Newark, CA, directly collaborates with the Quality Engineering Manager. Your main mission? To elevate manufacturing standards through skilled inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
AXI Operation Mastery
Own the operation and support tasks of the AXI line.
Ensure the precise and consistent detection of component placements and solder joint faults.
Partner with processing and engineering teams to bolster visual defect yields and troubleshoot processing concerns.
Quality Inspection Excellence
Inspect components such as chips, connectors, and more with an AXI computer-operated system.
Adhere to IPC-A-610 standards using magnification aids during inspections.
Interpret assembly documentation and load AXI programs following detailed guidelines.
Detect inconsistencies in SMT paste, component placement, efficiently.
Empowerment Through Training
Aid engineers with data gathering and evaluate systems.
Drive improvement initiatives and contribute to a vibrant, organized work environment through 5S methodologies.
Embrace additional responsibilities tied to AXI Support and Production as needed.
Education and Experience Required:
3+ years of hands-on experience with AXI machinery. Completion of a High School Diploma. Familiarity with quality standards like ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, and ESD. Certification in IPC-A-610.
Compensation:
Expected hourly wage ranges from $18.00 to $27.00
