Quality Control Specialist
As a critical member of the Volflex Quality Assurance Team, the Quality Control Specialist will work closely with an enthusiastic team of plant managers, line operators, sales team, and customer support personnel to monitor and help ensure customer expectations in quality are met or exceeded.
Reporting to the Quality Programs Coordinator, success in this role will be achieved through investigative problem-solving, attention to detail, and an eager ability to help establish and maintain measurable food packaging safety and quality objectives within a Safe Quality Food (SQF) program.
Example tasks include root cause analysis, quality assurance, developing and implementing control procedures, performing inspections on packaging samples, quality audits, helping to ensure HACCP procedures are followed, responding to customer inquiries, and other cross-functional office roles. Initially, this position will include aspects of customer service and shipping, which all dovetail into quality assurance.
Experience with today’s computer systems, inventory management, shipping, production, and other aspects of inventory traceability will be important in this role. You will also conduct lab tests related to paper and packaging quality, ensuring specifications are being met.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
