DUTIES:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant serves as the assistant to the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Administrator (QAPI) on continuous quality improvement projects and quality department initiatives and projects as assigned. The QA Assistant may conduct PERM audits of Cape Atlantic I.N.K. youths’ records assuring agency integrity and Medicaid compliance are maintained. The QA Assistant contributes information and analysis of audits, satisfaction surveys, and quality improvement projects as assigned as well as identifying system issues and makes recommendations for improvement. Functions as an information source to the QA department on critical quality issues and prepares, monitors and collects data for analyzing and trending. The QA Assistant manages spreadsheets and may interface with youths’ records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and completes all other duties as assigned. The QA Assistant maintains confidentiality and safeguards all past or current, Cape Atlantic I.N.K. youth/families’, written, verbal or electronic, protected health information. Must be able to perform job remotely as needed.
Minimal Qualifications:
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in human service-related field or Management Information System field.
Experience: Two year’s experience working in an organization with similar mission and operations. Proficient computer skills required. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Access) and be familiar with MS Teams. Excellent verbal and written communications, as well as interpersonal skills. Must possess attention to detail, ability to problem solve and complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner. Works well independently as well as collaborate with others. Bilingual a plus.
Training: Knowledge of QA concepts, data methodologies and CYBER preferred. A valid driver’s license is required. Must successfully complete background check and driver’s license check.
