What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Collaborate with project managers to understand translation project expectations and specifications
– Review English source files and share findings with the project manager
– Proofread non-English target files for accuracy, including names, numbers, and punctuation
– Utilize reference materials such as style guides and glossaries for quality checks
– Provide quality findings and feedback to project team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Minimum of two (2) years of experience in translation-related quality control tasks
– Strong computer skills with experience in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
– Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
– High attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
– Familiarity with non-English languages
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Experience with left-to-right and right-to-left written languages
– Proven ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality
