Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Process Improvement Manager to oversee the activities related to FSQA focused process improvements or initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement using RCA, Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce waste and hazards, and increase productivity.
Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and other relevant food safety standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to drive improvement initiatives.
Train and mentor staff on process improvement techniques and best practices.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact of improvement efforts.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and innovation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement within the food manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of USDA regulations and food safety standards.
Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement projects.
Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence others.
