One of Remoly's valued clients, a well-established Chinese-invested FDI company in Vietnam, is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, monitor production quality, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations

Position: QC Supervisor

Industry: Food & Beverage (F&B)

Quantity: 1

Salary range: RM 7,000 – RM 12,000 per month

Location: Pulau Indah Industrial Park, 42009 Port Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia

Working Time: Monday to Friday from 8AM to 5PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be responsible for compliance with local Malaysian food regulations, annual license review and government authority coordination, and implement daily production compliance control.
  • Lead the establishment and operation of ISO9001, FSSC22000, ISO22000 and HACCP systems; coordinate Halal, Rainforest and other certifications as well as customer audits.
  • Participate in factory construction, equipment and process layout planning; identify quality and food safety risks across project setup and production processes and drive corrective actions.
  • Manage daily operations of the quality control department, including staff scheduling, team management, skill training and talent pipeline development.
  • Handle quality issues, customer complaints, CAPA implementation, food safety self-inspection and special quality activities.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement and other departments in a bilingual and cross-cultural working environment to achieve quality objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree or above. Food, quality management or related majors are preferred.
  • At least 5 years of quality control experience in the food industry.
  • Experience with Malaysian or Southeast Asian food compliance is preferred.
  • Food-related industry experience is mandatory.
  • Fluent Chinese and English communication skills; ability to independently communicate with local government authorities and local employees.
  • Malay language capability is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety systems, GMP and Halal certification processes, with team management and problem-solving capability.
