Summary
As a Test Engineer, your role will involve designing and implementing systems and equipment procedures. This includes testing and monitoring equipment, updating, and improving current system processes, and conducting risk assessments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Design, implement and support test configuration for final system performance and safety.
Design, implement and support other software that supports manufacturing
Create tools for statistical analysis of test data
Define test workflows and data storage
Perform test system maintenance and calibration against internal gold standards
Collaborate with other teams to define test parameters and other product requirements.
Evaluate and track performance for components of acoustic stack and final stack configuration
Create mechanical (or conceptual) design of test fixturing
Integrate newly designed tests into prototype, pre-production and production
Develop test/reporting/labeling automation
Oversee and manage the test resources
Train others in any aspects of in-process tests
Provide technical support to other teams, assisting with problems encountered internally.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
College degree in engineering or equivalent from college or technical school
4 – 6 years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience OR
Minimum four (4) years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience; with at least one (1) year of engineering experience being comparable to the next lower level.
Understanding of ultrasound engineering principles
