Full Job Description
POSITION: Quality Control Technician
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Quality Control Technician will oversee the quality processes, and assist with ongoing QC training. This position requires the ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task, and communicate clearly at all levels within CSE along with external customers and suppliers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform receiving inspections
Verify inspection equipment and all other production equipment are calibrated
Identify and manage nonconforming material
Create and manage nonconformance reports (NCR)
Work with purchasing and suppliers for credit/replacement of nonconforming parts
Communicate with sales and customers on Quality related issues
Responsible for ongoing QC training for all CSE employees
Responsible for overseeing QC of in-process and final assembly
Responsible for Quality release of finished goods, both production and shipping assembly.
Train in Freight view software will quote shipping costs for the sales team.
Will assist with scheduling inbound freight when coming in.
Works with suppliers and CSE management to verify and update hose fitting crimp specification
Updates all QC specifications as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Previous experience with hydraulic hose and various parts/fittings.
Understanding of the hydraulic hose production process.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized.
Reliable and dependable.

Detail oriented and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to compute, analyze and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and record, balance and check results for accuracy
Be able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
