Knife River is hiring for a Quality Control Technician based out of our Western Montana Division.
Job Responsibilities:
Material sampling, testing, technical documentation/logging and various quality control procedures.
Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures.
Understand and execute the required testing procedures in conformance with the contract documents and industry standards.
Monitor, document and track Quality Control documents including but not limited to Quality Control Plans, Daily Reports, Testing Reports and Inspection Reports.
Review all special inspection and material testing performed by third parties.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is highly desired.
OSHA 30 or MSHA preferred.
Ability to be certified in material testing is required;
However, training and certification opportunities will be provided.
Quality Control experience preferred but not required.
Basic math skills and good record keeping required.
Basic computer and spreadsheet skills preferred, but not necessary.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of material.
Ability to work overtime and some weekends.
A professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.
Valid Driver’s License.
