Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality before they reach the customer. You will work closely with the production and engineering teams to conduct tests, identify defects, and implement solutions that improve product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine quality control inspections of products during and after production.
- Conduct tests and measurements using specialized equipment and tools to evaluate the quality and performance of products.
- Identify and document defects or inconsistencies in products and report findings to the QA Manager or relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality policies.
- Assist in preparing reports on quality inspection results and trends.
- Support troubleshooting efforts for product defects and work with engineers to resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain an effective quality management system.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, following all health and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or technical certification is a plus).
- Previous experience in quality assurance or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with quality testing tools and equipment (e.g., tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods.
