Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems that ensure the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management principles and the ability to analyze data effectively to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties
Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established quality assurance protocols.
Collect and analyze data related to production processes, identifying areas for improvement.
Implement quality control measures to maintain product integrity throughout the manufacturing cycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fabricate and test new control systems.
Develop and maintain quality systems documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and reports.
Provide training and support to team members on quality management practices and control system operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in controls engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance (QA/QC) principles and practices.
Familiarity with data collection methods and statistical analysis techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
