Position Overview:
The Quality Control Inspector will support our Quality department by inspecting and measuring weldments and high and ultra- high purity gas delivery systems and components. In addition to being able to read and understand engineering drawings, job travelers, and written procedures, the applicant must also have experience with inspection, measuring, math, hand tools, and have good manual dexterity.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist the QA department with proper inspection methods and techniques
Complete incoming inspections of raw materials, customer supplied parts, and purchased components
Verify parts to drawings
Perform in-process QC checks and analytical testing
Read project drawings, specifications, work orders, and procedures
Check components for proper fit & function, identifying any faulty components
Safely operate common manufacturing and quality tools and equipment
Assist in issuing, collecting, calibrating, and maintaining measuring equipment
Complete production paperwork and recordkeeping
Follow departmental processes and procedures
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, or 13485)
Detail orientated
Ability to focus while multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
Familiarity with the operation of common manufacturing, quality, and measuring tools and equipment
Ability to work with and handle small instruments and components
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Requirements:
High School degree required
1 + years’ experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing
Must have good vision and dexterity
Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and sit throughout the day for extended periods of time
