Job Title: Sr. QA Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Work from Office Location: Houston, Texas

Work Arrangement: On-site (5 days a week)

Experience Required: Minimum 7+ Years

Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing robust automated testing frameworks and be well-versed in a variety of testing tools and methodologies.

This role requires close collaboration with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure the highest quality of software delivery.

Essential Skills Required:  Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts for functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.

 Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to define test strategies, test cases, and acceptance criteria.

 Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and identify defects and performance bottlenecks.

 Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support ongoing testing efforts.

 Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and sprint planning meetings to ensure testability and quality of software features.

 Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.  Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, determine root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.

 Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and automation.

Specific Certifications or Qualifications Required:

 Programming Languages: C, C#, JavaScript, VBScript

 Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, SQL, T-SQL

 Automation Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress

 CI/CD Tools: TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure

 Optional Tools: LoadRunner, JMeter, UFT, ALM/Quality Center

 Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and SDLC methodologies  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Why Join Us?

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 – $70.00 per hour
