Position Summary
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with Project Managers, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to support quality assurance processes and ensure that our products meet the required specifications and user expectations.
Qualifications
0-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance /IT
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. In lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience may be considered
Understanding of Agile/Waterfall development methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Works collaboratively with others
Ability to grasp new concepts quickly
Responsibilities
Plan, estimate, and create manual test suites per provided requirements
Suggest regression test case contributions and assist with maintenance of the regression test suite for your application
Execute test cases during sprints and on an ad hoc basis
Identify and document defects, working with the development team to ensure timely resolution
Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to ensure effective quality assurance and testing processes. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality
Interact with development teams to ensure tests provide accurate, complete, and appropriate coverage
Work with QA Automation Engineers to ensure that automation is set up correctly and that manual and automated tests are aligned. Report changes in testing requirements to automation engineers for code adjustments
Associate test cases with User Stories in Azure DevOps. Utilize Azure DevOps Test Plans for management and reporting
Provide updates during team standups, highlighting progress, issues, and any changes in testing
