About the Role
As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and precision of our manufactured components. By utilizing advanced measurement instrumentation and interpreting complex engineering specifications, you will guarantee that our products consistently exceed rigorous industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive mechanical and visual inspections across receiving, in-process, and final production stages to ensure product compliance.
- Drive quality excellence by conducting detailed First Article Inspections (FAIs) in strict adherence to established QMS protocols.
- Maintain precise inspection documentation and digital records to ensure full traceability and support data-driven quality improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide technical insights for the disposition of non-conforming materials.
- Perform critical maintenance and calibration of precision measurement tools to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance with ISO 10012 standards.
- Actively participate in internal and external quality audits to uphold organizational quality objectives.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in quality inspection within a high-precision or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and geometric tolerances.
- Hands-on proficiency with precision tools including CMMs, micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to document findings accurately and maintain rigorous quality records.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles.
- Experience working within aerospace or similarly stringent manufacturing sectors.
- Solid computer literacy with experience in quality management software or data entry systems.
