$18.00/hr – $22.00/hr
Job Title
Quality Control Technician
Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of product. Quality control technicians test products across the three stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure quality levels are met.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Observes all applicable safety policies and regulations.
Complies with the plant sampling schedule of process samples.
Make concrete cylinders and break release for 28 days.
Measure initial slip.
Collects representative raw mill product samples and conducts appropriate tests to assure proper control.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs.
Maintain calibration of quality control equipment.
Responsible for housekeeping and clean-up of immediate work areas and sample areas or in other areas in conjunction with assigned duties.
As required assists in major plant repair projects.
REQUIRED MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience in construction or manufacturing.
ACI and PCI Level I/II certified a plus.
Knowledge of basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Computer skills especially in the use Microsoft Word and Excel.
