Responsibilities
Implement and manage quality control systems for Li-ion battery manufacturing.
Conduct incoming materials quality control in the warehouse.
Assist in establishing quality control systems in the materials warehouse.
Inspect incoming materials including cell parts, active materials, and chemicals for safety and performance.
Analyze and evaluate materials data to reduce defects and enhance battery performance.
Support audits of the cell manufacturing process to ensure quality standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with quality management tools (control charts, FTA, FMEA, etc.) and MS Office.
Practical experience with materials analysis and testing equipment.
3+ years of quality technician experience preferred.
Associate’s or Junior College degree in science or engineering.
Experience with ISO 9001 audits and high-volume manufacturing defect reduction.
Physical Demands
Includes sitting (20%), walking (50%), standing (20%), and lifting (10%) with occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.
