Quality Control Technician Jobs in Ceiba, PR at R & H PRODUCTS OF PUERTO RICO, INC
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and follow instructions from the Quality Control Coordinator.
- Conduct first piece and final inspection to ensure the operator is measuring according to the required inspection method.
- Assist in the incoming inspection area.
- Determine if parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Verify that each worker has the correct instrument for inspection, testing, and monitoring.
- Assist operators with measuring instruments so they can perform their measurement duties.
- Comply with established standards and procedures.
- Complete the required paperwork in their work area.
- Follow safety regulations in their work area and throughout the plant.
- Use appropriate safety equipment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate from a technical school or have received training in a workshop or company similar to R&H Products.
- Know how to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, boring gauges, among others.
- Know how to read and understand drawings of mechanical parts and components.
- Good oral and written communication skills (Spanish and English).
- Knowledge of computer programs (Excel, Word, SolidWorks, etc.)
IMPORTANT:
- This is a second shift job from 1:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
- Work days are from Monday to Friday.
