As a Quality Control Technician for North Arc Precision, you will play a key role in maintaining a high standard of product safety and quality of incoming and outgoing products.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspecting and measuring all incoming components of products using state of the art measurement systems
Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs. Including FA and PPAP reports
Generating detailed Non-Conformance Reports and communicate with external vendors
Communicating required quality or process adjustments to internal production supervisor
Reading engineering drawings and specifications to understand the requirements of products
Assisting in generation and implementation of inspection plans
Programming and operating Keyence vision measurement systems (training provided)
Programming and operating CMM (training provided)
Assisting Quality Engineer in resolving quality-related issues in a timely manner
Supporting R&D and engineering efforts in performing precision measurements and generating detailed report
Supporting efforts of continuous improvement activities of products and processes
Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
Requirements:
Post Secondary school education in Mechanical Engineering and Quality Engineering
Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications with GD&T is an asset
Experience building and/or inspecting bike components or triggers is an asset
Able to lift up to 10lbs
This position is 100% in-office at our facility in Mississauga
