Job Summary:
Develop and maintain the plants quality and environmental systems within compliance to the ISO 14001, ISO 9000, IATF and customer standards. Monitor and maintain internal scorecard of plant performance to company standards. Co-ordinate the internal & external audit scheduling to maintain site registrations with third party registrar.
Required Qualifications:
Post Secondary Education in the following:
Quality
Environmental
ISO/IATF Internal Auditor Training, ISO14001 Internal Auditor Training
Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
ISO/TS Lead Auditor Certification
3-4 years experience (Professional Discipline)

Adopt a common sense approach to identifying and addressing problems and control weaknesses
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing all elements of the Quality and Environmental systems, including but not limited to policy creation/maintenance, program role out, training and communications
Management advisor regarding Quality Standards and Environmental legislation in relation to the workplace
Responsible for reporting Quality, Environmental performance measurables and concerns to Plant/Corporate Leadership.
Prepare summary reports of plant performance to Corporate Standards and Measurables
Liaise with third party registrar to coordinate registrations and surveillance audits at all plants.
Lead and conduct internal audits for QMS and EMS
Performs internal audits to TS16949 and ISO14001 specifications as required
Receives and processes-controlled drawings and associated documents
Maintains and updates specifications/standards used in manufacturing
Coordinates ISO14001 Documents, programs, and activities
Participate and interface with other departments on product realization activities (APQP).
Provide training to employees in ISO requirements and subsequent documentation (procedures, work instructions, forms).
Administratively support the initiatives of the Quality Manager, including data management and tracking.
Provide Information to the Quality Manager for use in management performance measurable review.
