We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Home Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing the condition of residential properties, identifying potential issues, and providing comprehensive reports to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, quality control measures, and the ability to analyze data effectively. As a Home Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that homes meet safety standards and are in good repair.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties, including structural components, systems, and fixtures.
Analyze findings and prepare detailed inspection reports that outline any issues or concerns.
Perform quality inspections to ensure that all aspects of the home meet established standards.
Collect data during inspections to support findings and recommendations for repairs or improvements.
Collaborate with contractors and construction management teams to address identified issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, building codes, and inspection techniques.
Willing to sign a no compete clause
Qualifications
Proven experience in home inspection or related fields such as construction management or quality control.
Able to work a tablet or cell phone.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Familiarity with quality inspection processes and contract requirements in the construction industry.
Excellent communication skills for conveying findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple inspections efficiently.
A valid home inspector certification or license may be required based on local regulations. We will help you with this process.
