Job Operations
Monitor quality standards with regular inspections of installations
Ability to take care of small punch items and repairs as they arise
Work closely with project team to drive awareness of problems and correct them early in the installation process
Communicates corrective actions needed with installers to project management
Documents visits by submitting daily punch reports to project management
Receives and confirms jobsite deliveries as needed; followed up by routine inventory reports
Communication
Responsible to enhance productivity of department through effective written and verbal communication
All correspondence must be in a professional manner
All calls and emails must be addressed or returned within one hour
Customer Service
Continuously improve customer satisfaction.
Follow up all QC walks within 48-hour time period; forward details to Assistant Project Manager for communication with the client
Sales
Must be focused on customer retention at all times
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of product information and instills confidence with clients
People
Actively recruits installers for all flooring aspects including but not limited to carpet, plank, vinyl, hardwood installations as opportunities present themselves.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
Scheduling:
Employee will work Monday through Friday; however, employee will be included on the Saturday rotation as needed.
Experience Level:
1-2 years flooring experience preferred
Installation experience preferred
Physical:
Ability to work on multiple tasks
Pleasant and clearly understandable phone voice
Ability to lift and carry 40+ lbs.
Loading and unloading materials and equipment by hand
Ability to operate forklift and other equipment relating to flooring installations
Ability to climb stars and spend the majority of day on foot. 5,000 + steps per day
Must be able to move about to visit customers routinely
Ability to drive in vehicle for long periods of time and make numerous stops
Ability to work indoors and outside in varying temperatures
Technical:
Microsoft Office
Microsoft Excel
IPAD proficient
Forklift / Skytrack Certification or willingness to obtain in first 60 days
OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain in first 60 days
First Aid / CPR certification or willingness to obtain in first 60 days
