Position Summary:
Performs a mix of complex, routine, and specialized duties related to multiple areas within Quality for the entire business. This position ensures a smooth handle of any quality related issue including but not limited to process, NPI, OBA, vendor, design and customer.

Essential Functions:

Coordinates the Quality planning, monitoring, problem solving and continuous improvement functions to ensure that products and services conform to established customer and company standards.
Assists other departments (Materials, Program Management, Engineering, Operations) to ensure overall success of projects and customer satisfaction.
Serve as mentor to other members of the Quality department.
Prepares customer presentation for executive level audiences and attends meetings for support.
Assists testing groups to develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
Provides directions for Quality Assurance Inspectors performing sample audits of work-in-process and finished goods for conformance to requirements and specifications.
Assists with disposition of materials which have failed test and are on hold in the MRB area. This includes working with Supplier Quality Engineer and vendor to get Failure Analysis results.
Leads cross-functional team for corrective action efforts including root cause and countermeasure actions using customer and Quanta required methodologies and formats (8D, 5-why, fishbone, etc.). Responds to the customer within required timeframes with detailed explanations and visits to customer facilities as required.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of process capability.
Track and address any issue related to the business’ quality such DMR dollar amount and aging, OBA and process failures impacting FTY, COPQ, and scrap.
Assists with plant ISO 9001 activities including internal auditing, calibration and document control. Serves as document control coordinator (DCC).
Drafts Process Flows, Procedures, Work Instructions and Forms as required.
Any other tasks assigned by the senior staff.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university (preferably in Engineering, Math or Science).
3+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience with third party quality system certifications such as ISO 9001.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HR Generalist role in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.

Computer literate in a Windows environment.
Strong written and spoken English skills; bilingual in Spanish or Swahili preferred.

Must have a Valid Passport or other documents allowing international travel or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and suppliers.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Certified as ISO 9001 internal auditor.
Computer literate in a Windows Environment: Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, Internet Explorer, etc.
Analytical and detail oriented with good organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy.
Self-motivated with ability to use own initiative.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk and listen. The employee is occasionally required to stand; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
