Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. We work with various U.S. foods, snacks and beverage manufactures who produce our Private Label products for Japan. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Private Label or Store Brand products made in USA meet the highest quality standards and comply with foods industry regulations for Japan Market. This position involves handling of customer quality complaints and resolve by conducting quality inspections at various U.S. manufactures by visiting them time to time, understanding their quality control processes, and utilizing detail analysis of product specifications. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with each plant and Q.C. managers to implement quality improvement while ensuring compliance with HACCP, ISO 13485, and Japan FDA regulations.
Responsibilities
Conduct quality inspections at new and present manufactures of our Private Label products throughout the manufacturing process so that they maintain consistency in quality to the unique spec. set for the market.
Should quality claims occur, analyze data of defects and generate reports on quality metrics to identify causes of defects and areas for improvement with each manufactures.
Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement effective quality management practices.

Skills
Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and quality management systems.
Ability to analyze data effectively to drive continuous improvement initiatives; excellent attention to details with strong problem-solving skills, and computer literacy
Familiarity with HACCP guidelines, ISO 13485 standards, and Japan & FDA regulations.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal to create the claim report and corrective measures.
Ability to drive and work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
