Your mission
Support production quality at the source. You’ll verify that in-process product meets technical requirements and T1 Energy’s Quality Management System (QMS), running the right tests at the right times, documenting results, and acting fast on anything out of tolerance.
How you’ll contribute
- Audit and inspect in-process output against defined specifications and QMS procedures
- Perform tensile and chemical analyses on samples following the approved sampling plan
- Quarantine, label, and track non-conforming materials/products
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specification documents
- Operate and maintain calipers, micrometers, and gauges with accuracy
- Prepare and process samples for laboratory testing
- Calibrate and maintain lab and inspection equipment
- Record findings precisely and enter data into the quality management database/system
- Model safe work practices and help maintain a safe environment
- Assist with additional quality tasks and special projects as assigned
Schedule and pay
- $22 per hour plus a +10% Night Shift Differential
- Day Shift: 6 am–6 pm | Night Shift: 6 pm–6 am
- 12-hour rotation alternating 4-on/3-off and 3-on/4-off
3-on / 4-off: Work Sunday–Tuesday, off Wednesday–Saturday
4-on / 3-off: Work Sunday–Wednesday, off Thursday–Saturday
What it takes
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing QA/QC experience is a plus
- Familiarity with basic lab workflows and inspection methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret technical specs and blueprints
- Demonstrated skill with calipers and micrometers
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Comfort with unit conversions and technical math
- Ability to stand for extended periods during 12-hour shifts
- Visual acuity for color, close detail, depth perception, peripheral vision, and focus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour schedule that may include weekends
