STAr-Edge Technologies is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our production team by working efficiently in a fast-paced environment and help with system-level inspection and troubleshooting.

Job Description (including but not limited to):

· Physical and Electrical inspection to ensure a healthy probe card inventory to support production committed targets

· Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs probe cards used in semiconductor testing

· Ensure probe cards are functioning correctly by operating specialized equipment, performing preventive maintenance (PM), and collaborating with engineers to resolve issues

· Assist and participate in improvement projects

· Be able to assist in training new probe card QC Technicians and operators

· Recommend and execute corrective actions relating to probe card

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and documentation

· Adhere to safety guidelines in the production environment and promote a safety-conscious culture

· Some travel required to customer site, headquarters and SEP facility in San Jose as needed

Desired Skills & Experience:

· Probe card experience and strong knowledge: Helpful, but not required

· Ability to use microscopes for prolonged periods

· Knowledge of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, IC and diode).

· Knowledge in probe card checking, cleaning and probe pin adjustment; PRVX machine or another equivalent probe card analyzer.

· Proficient with probe card testing, card repair and calibration

· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in reporting and documentation

. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Office 360 (Outlook, TEAMS) and other relevant software

. Entry-level applicants:

  • Comprehensive training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and carefully
  • Ability to handle small, delicate components with care and precision
  • Comfortable using microscope for extended periods
  • Strong willingness to learn new technical skills and follow established procedures

Pay: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour
