Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products by implementing and maintaining our quality control systems. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management principles, as well as a keen eye for detail and the ability to use precision measuring instruments.
Responsibilities
Inspect components, assembled products, semi-finished products & finished products per inspection procedures/drawings and print specifications
Review corresponding product documentation to verify acceptability per specification and other requirements
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Must be capable of detecting nonconformities while performing repetitive inspections
Use measuring equipment/gauges as well as mating parts to determine as found/as left conditions of the product
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Perform other duties as required by management
Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but, not required
Mechanical “hands-on” experience
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to handle heavy, bulky items manually.
Must stand for long periods of time.
Knowledge of ISO & API standards
