Quality Controller
Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
£24,600 plus overtime
Our client, an established family-owned business, who are going through a substantial growth period have identified the need to recruit a Quality Controller this is an excellent opportunity as the company is investing heavily into the site with robotics and automation, whilst continuing to be committed to their customers, staff and the environment. They are based on the outskirts of Mansfield so own transport is essential due to location.

Key Responsibilities
for the Quality Controller
* Recording and updating data on deflected items, waste control etc
* Completing weight sheets for reports, regarding product origin
* Understanding the customers different products /packaging
* Daily Tally for report to be compiled for QC checks completed
* Scale verification check
* Temperature checks on product and weekly calibration
* Barcode check – cross check the information against the retail code sheet.
* Toolbox checks – check that all equipment that should be in place is in place.
* Carrying out internal GMP
Experience and capabilities for the Quality Controller
* Experience in a Quality or Technical role within the food industry is essential
* Ideally previous experience or knowledge of working to BRC and retail customer standards
* The ability to communicate effectively with all staff members
* Highly numeric with strong data and statistical analysis and written reporting skills
* Good
multi-tasking

* You will be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment
