The Quality Controller – Telecom plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance before reaching customers. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in quality management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools such as statistical process control (SPC).
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Proficient in using inspection and testing equipment and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in quality control or quality assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).
  • Knowledge of advanced quality management software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify quality standards.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, and communicate findings to relevant departments.
  • Identify and report product defects or deviations, recommending corrective actions to production and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards throughout the production process.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality management systems.
  • Maintain calibration and maintenance records for testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
