Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in quality management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools such as statistical process control (SPC).
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Proficient in using inspection and testing equipment and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in quality control or quality assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).
- Knowledge of advanced quality management software and data analysis tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify quality standards.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, and communicate findings to relevant departments.
- Identify and report product defects or deviations, recommending corrective actions to production and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards throughout the production process.
- Participate in internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality management systems.
- Maintain calibration and maintenance records for testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
