We are currently recruiting for a quality controller for a reputable polyurethane manufacturing company with a permanent contract available at the end for suitable candidates and an hourly rate of £12.53

Main
Duties
:
* Read drawings and work instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
* Approve or reject raw materials / products with
respect
to quality standards and record information
* Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
* Maintain records of testing, information, and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
* Perform first article inspections and completes all associated documentation ensuring customer requirements are met
* Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives
The Ideal Candidate
:
* Must be able to read drawings
* Proven experience as a
quality control
inspector or relevant role, preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Basic mathematical skills
* Involvement in a Manufacturing environment, desirable
Pay and
Hours:
* Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm – 39 hours a week
* £12.53 per hour
The role is starting of temporary but after a successful 12 weeks probationary period there will be opportunities for a permanent contract
