Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst I is responsible for ensuring measurable improvement of financial software product quality through the execution of effective and efficient quality assurance management and testing processes. Working with the Quality Assurance Project Team Lead and under the guidance of Manager of Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Analyst I partners with other Quality Assurance team members and development teams to manage progress against the release commitments and collectively adjust the release plans to ensure effective completion of commitments. 

 Responsibilities

Performs targeted testing of wealth management workflows to ensure software features align with established quality benchmarks and business requirements.
Develops business use case scenarios using data sets to evaluate system logic, error management, and workflow performance.
Identifies, replicates, and documents system defects to support resolution efforts.
Verify implemented fixes to ensure proper functionality
Documents testing results in accordance with defined QA procedures and guidelines.
Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies.
May contribute to the creation of test scripts and planning documentation for new and existing features.
Provides support on projects of limited scope and complexity, contributing to team objectives under guidance.

 Education and Experience Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Requires up to 4 years of work experience.
Experience with Financial Services software applications is preferred.
