Role Description The Quality Coordinator supports the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and Competence Management System (CMS). The role is responsible for maintaining quality records, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), coordinating documentation, and assisting in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. The position works closely with the Quality Manager and other departments to monitor quality performance, prepare reports, maintain document control, and support corrective actions. The Quality Coordinator also assists in managing training and assessment records, updating system data, and ensuring the accuracy of quality and competence-related information.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Quality Management, with the ability to apply and maintain standard operating procedures and quality frameworks.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Auditing, including planning, conducting, and documenting internal audits and follow-up actions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly convey quality requirements and findings.
- Relevant experience in quality assurance or coordination, preferably in maritime, training, or related industries.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and basic data analysis software.
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Maritime Studies, Business, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of applicable maritime standards, regulatory requirements, and safety practices is an advantage.
