This role involves developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving quality assurance processes. The candidate will utilize data analysis to enhance quality reporting measures and optimize processes.
Responsibilities
Identify problems, resolve issues, report losses, and pursue continuous improvement
Design and implement process control, improvement, testing, and inspection methods
Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures
Participate in internal and external quality audits
Lead cross-functional communication to drive quality assurance and process improvements; prioritize client demands and make decisions under limited time
Communicate and engage with customers and internal teams during pilot manufacturing and production launches
Support root cause investigations at lineside, MRB area, and warehouse
Implement quality standards for products and third-party suppliers to meet client expectations
Assist the Quality Department in understanding technical and quality requirements
Maintain good relationships with customers and understand their business needs and quality expectations
Travel between client locations and the office as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
At least 2 years of industry experience
Strong knowledge of industry-standard quality tools
Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Project management experience (2-3 years), especially in interior/exterior product development, is a plus
Knowledge of GD&T and UG(3D)
Excellent teamwork and communication skills; hands-on ability
Experience with 8D analysis, PFMEA, hypothesis testing, and material planning is preferred
Detail-oriented with a quality mindset, capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Experience with automotive OEMs and suppliers is a plus
