About the role

This role is based on-site at Volex Vietnam and reports directly to the QA Manager. The QA Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving quality assurance systems that prevent product defects, ensure compliance with customer, safety, and regulatory requirements, and support operational excellence throughout the entire manufacturing lifecycle.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks, drive corrective and preventive actions, analyze process performance, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. This position plays a key role in maintaining high product quality standards while enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction.

As the role involves frequent interaction with technical documentation, reports, and communication in English, strong English language proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and control ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems.
  • Implement and control compliance with chemical environmental standards in products.
  • Coordinate the analysis and response to customer complaints.
  • Conduct and prepare for internal and external compliance audits.
  • Make complaints to suppliers and follow up on corrective actions from suppliers.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required.
  • Coordinate the preparation of test samples as required by certification bodies and internal reliability testing.
  • Propose ideas for improving the management and quality system to enhance work performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: College/University graduate
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficient in office software, presentation, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to communicate and use English in the workplace.
  • Quick-witted, enthusiastic, honest, and highly responsible.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Able to work in a team, independently, and under high pressure.
