Seeking a Quality Engineer to support product and program quality for the manufacturing of aerospace components and systems. This role ensures effective process control, leads root cause analysis, drives continuous improvement, and presents results to customers and management. Initially, responsibilities include inspections at various production stages, with a transition to a dedicated team as volume increases.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality procedures for components and assemblies.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer specifications.
Support manufacturing with quality documentation and process control.
Investigate and resolve production issues in a team environment.
Perform inspections, data analysis, and documentation reviews.
Lead corrective action initiatives and support audits.
Train internal teams and suppliers on quality standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
4+ years quality engineering experience in the aerospace/defense/space industry
Experience with AS9100, ISO
9001, military and aerospace specifications.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Strong data analysis and documentation skills.
U.S. citizenship required, eligibility for security clearance.
