Summary:Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support plant operations with a focus on product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in plastics processing and regulated industry standards.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field from a four-year accredited college or university
5+ years of hands-on Quality Engineering experience
In-depth knowledge of regulated industries, SQF, and ISO 9001 standards
Experience in plastics processing technologies, preferably in packaging and/or medical device sectors
Job Responsibilities:
Support plant performance in Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Customer Service metrics
Partner with Plant Management and Operations to enhance product and process quality
Respond to internal and customer issues, audits, and project needs
Provide Quality Engineering and Validation support across Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams
Assist with daily operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct Design of Experiments (DOEs), statistical analysis, capability studies, and other quality tools for qualification and process enhancement
