JOB SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for delivering and receiving optimum quality of goods and/or services by developing and implementing standards for inspection. This includes the development of product workflow inspection and reporting on quality measurements. In addition, responsibilities of this role are to develop, coordinate and implement the quality control system to prevent or eliminate defects by identifying root cause and executing corrective actions as well as to promote and implement continuous improvement activities.

What You’ll Do:

Elevate Quality Standards – Identify key improvement factors and implement solutions that enhance our quality systems.

Optimize Vendor Performance – Evaluate vendor quality systems, initiate corrective actions, and ensure top-tier supplier reliability.

Innovate Inspection Processes – Develop and apply cutting-edge inspection methods to ensure manufacturing consistency and reliability.

Lead Internal Audits – Manage and refine our Internal Quality Audit Program to ensure compliance and continuous enhancement.

Drive Change & Improvement – Take charge in Change Management initiatives, leading impactful transformations.

Champion First Article Inspections – Assess and determine the need for FAIRs, ensuring seamless product introductions.

Facilitate Game-Changing Projects – Spearhead major improvement initiatives that push quality and efficiency to the next level.

Define & Refine Standards – Develop, document, and enhance inspection criteria, work processes, and instructions to optimize performance.

Resolve Quality Issues – Partner with the Materials Department to tackle product non-compliance, driving root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.

Own the Corrective Action Program – Lead the charge in identifying, managing, and resolving quality issues with lasting impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering

4+ years’ of industry experience

Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry

Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
