SEGURA is an industrial group specialising in the design, development and manufacturing of metal parts and components for the automotive industry, primarily using stamping and welding processes.
The company currently employs 1,500 people, spread across various plants located in: Almussafes (Spain), Vigo (Spain), Szolnok (Hungary), Treuenbrietzen and Eisenach (Germany), as well as its headquarters in Paterna (Spain).
We are currently recruiting a quality engineer for our production facilities in Almussafes.
The successful candidate’s main role will be to manage the quality assurance of the manufactured product, ensuring compliance with established quality standards and requirements.
Key responsibilities
Define and implement inspection and rework procedures on the production floor.
Prepare 8D reports based on investigations into relevant non-conformities.
Lead 8D working groups for problem analysis and resolution, identifying root causes and defining corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of defects.
Participate in the approval of new production processes.
Validate control guidelines and create visual quality aids.
Evaluate processes to ensure product quality assurance.
What are we looking for?
A university degree in Engineering.
High level of English.
At least 3 years’ experience in product quality departments within the automotive or industrial sector.
Knowledge of and experience with the 8D problem-solving methodology.
Knowledge of FMEA and Control Plans.
