Gem Care is seeking a Quality Engineer for a full-time opportunity in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Location: Morristown, TN
Salary: 60-75K
This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in quality systems, process improvement, data analysis, and manufacturing operations.
This role will support quality assurance activities including inspection, testing, SPC analysis, process improvement, quality reporting, supplier/customer quality communication, internal and external audits, and corrective action follow-up. Candidates should be comfortable interpreting engineering drawings, working with quality documentation, analyzing data, and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
Preferred background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
- One to three years of experience in high-volume manufacturing
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
- Knowledge of SPC, CP, CPK, ISO/QS-9000 standards
- Strong Excel and computer skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
