Role Summary
As a Quality Engineer, you will be an integral part of our QHSE function and will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s QMS, as well as acting as a key interface for Quality, with both internal and external customers. As part of your role, there will also be Inspection-related tasks which you are required to deliver.
Key Accountabilities
The identification and implementation of quality improvement opportunities across the manufacturing site, branches, and suppliers.
Host external audit activities including pre audit preparation.
Administration and resolution of customer complaints including RCA and CAPA.
Implementation and maintenance of process controls to support manufacturing processes, including quality plans, ITP and SOP’s.
Manage internal QMS and process audits.
Monitor, measure and improve internal scrap and rework.
Inspect and verify supplier initial samples.
Collection and reporting of internal NCR data.
Inspection, test and release activities as required, using standard engineering measuring equipment.
Engage in Health, Safety & Environmental activities / tasks.

Qualifications / Experience
Time served experience in similar roles within similar industries
Experience of reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment
Mechanical Engineering qualification – Apprenticeship or similar
