We have a great opportunity for a Quality Engineer who will initiate audit and support QA Systems and activities for all customers and suppliers. This opportunity will also allow you to work
Responsibilities:
Support and maintain the establishment of Quality and Reliability Standards.
Set-up and maintain QA systems and activities.
Lead problem solving activities using established methods; 5-why, 8D and other root cause analysis methods.
Assist product launch teams; support APQP.
Analyze product, manufacturing, and customer requirements to assist in the establishment of raw material standards.
Establish and maintain In-Process Product Condition, testing and inspection methods.
Conduct inspections and testing and create control plans.
Provide training for operations personnel.Â
Responsible for preparing product and process quality reports.
Participate in cross-functional project teams as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:Â To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering/science related field.
Proficient with problem solving methods.
Excellent internal/external customer service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Supplier development and customer relations experience.
Ability to complete tasks/projects with minimal supervision.
Ability to work alternate schedules/hours as needed.
