Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Engineer located in McCalla, AL. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for quality engineering, quality control, quality assurance, product quality, and quality management on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance skills
Quality Control and Quality Management skills
Experience in Product Quality
Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of SAP
Organize PPAP
Analyze suppliers’ documents and validate them or follow action plan with supplier
Contact supplier and emit official claims report (DMR)
Analyze and validate containment, PCA of suppliers, realize supplier action plan audit, if necessary
Engage escalation procedure if suppliers’ commitments are not achieved
Plan incoming Inspection activities and realize incoming inspection along with the responsible QE per project.
Update incoming control plan and containment action with the supplier if NOK result along with the responsible QE per project.
Prevent issues: suppliers audits
Manage systemic action plan with strategic suppliers
To realize suppliers’ process/system audits and follow action plan
Monitor design / process change with suppliers
Participate in managing change meetings along with the responsible QE per project.
Manage the change with suppliers along with the responsible QE per project.
Supplier PPAP monitoring for managing change complete process to be applied along with the responsible QE per project.
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
