Job Overview:
What You’ll Do:
Act as the key quality representative at automotive supplier client locations
Attend diverse customer meetings focused on quality and warranty
Participate in engineering and vehicle launch discussions and events
Engage with quality and engineering teams to delve into quality issues, gather data, conduct measurements, and identify root causes
Collaborate on setting temporary containment measures with quality and engineering teams
Work with client quality teams to understand and develop sustainable corrective actions
Deliver presentations to team members on actions and solutions addressing quality concerns
Navigate the production environment, interacting with teams and managers
Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols while on the production floor
Collaborate with Quality Strategies teams to foster team goals, efficiency, and professional development
Your Background:
Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is essential
Associate degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Competency in developing data charts relevant to automotive quality engineering
Proficient with measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, scales, and force gages
Exemplary communication skills; capable of presenting, listening, understanding, and executing directions effectively
Maintain a high level of professionalism in behavior, communication, and appearance
What You Need:
Experience in quality inspection and control
Valid driver’s license
Strong customer service approach
Acquainted with OEM practices
Completion of High School or GED
Well-versed in basic computer operations and Microsoft Excel
Tools You’ll Use:
Utilization of measurement gauges
Efficient use of calipers and micrometers
