Regional Nurse Quality Assurance / Reimbursement Specialist
(Travel Required for Multiple Facilities in Medina to Tuscarawas county, Ohio)
Position Overview: As a Regional Nurse Consultant, you will play a vital role in overseeing the clinical charting and Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments across multiple facilities. This position requires travel between our various locations, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing the quality of care provided. You will act as a support to both the DNS and the MDS departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and periodically conduct comprehensive MDS assessments.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Ensure clinical documentation compliance with federal and state regulations.
Provide training and support to facility staff on the MDS, clinical compliance processes and documentation.
Analyze data to improve resident outcomes and facility performance.
Make routine visits and audits to monitor facility compliance.
Provide survey support.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed nurse with a valid Ohio state license
Previous experience in MDS coordination
Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and reimbursement processes
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to travel between facilities as needed.
Strong clinical knowledge.Experience in driving quality of care outcomes.
Previous multi-facility oversight is a plus
